ARC Review: Trish, Just Trish by Lynda LeeAnne

March 2, 2013
Patricia Grace Kincaid is haunted by her past and no matter what she does, the ghosts won’t stay away. A childhood incident nearly ruined her life. A mistake that she made two years ago ripped her to shreds. She isn't the same feisty, fearless bitch she used to be… or is she?

What will happen when the person she screwed over storms back into her life? She freaks. Is it for the reason she’s always hoped for… that Tony Lopez, the breathtakingly sexy Latino love of her life, has finally decided to forgive her? Hell no. Will he demand her complete submission? Yes. Will he make her life hell? Double yes. Will she, in return, torture him? Hell-to-the-yes. Will her past come back to haunt her? Absolutely.
I was provided an ARC of this book in return for a fair and honest review, which I fully intent to give.

I first read Lexi, Baby and was taken aback by how Alpha, Lynda's characters really are. Landyn was a little more aggressive then I would typically want in a man but I enjoyed the story over all.

I expected more of the same as I anticipated the release of Trish, Just Trish. I found Trish to be a captivating character in Lexi, Baby. Talk about a bad ass. She's strong, loyal, loving. We didn't learn much about Tony but we knew what was between Trish and Tony was intense and real.

This book takes place 2 years after Trish conspires to break up Destiny and her fiance by pretending to sleep with her fiance. In her revenge against Destiny, Tony is left brokenhearted.

But when Trish lands herself in danger, regardless of his hatred for her, Tony steps up to keep her safe. While living at his home, we also learn about the horrific past that haunts Trish and causes her to wake up in the middle of the night screaming in terror.

The connection between Trish and Tony is strong but can Tony learn to trust Trish again? Can he keep her safe so they can build a future together? Or will a hot new sexy vet be the man to sweep Trish off her feet?

I read this book in a flurry. Tony is definitely an Alpha but in all the good ways. Hot tempted, passionate, sexy. And Trish is still a tough chick, who doesn't take his crap.
Adam... I can't wait until Lynda writes more about him because I just find him to be a joy.
I didn't really connect with the "bad guy"
“Remember senior year; when you found out Jacob Geery told Jordan Sisson, that you were a lousy lay, even though you only went on one date with him? You walked up to Jacob at his locker before third period, whispered in his ear that you wanted to show him a good time under the bleachers in the gym. When he turned to slam his locker shut and take you up on your offer, you kicked him in the junk so hard that he fell to his knees and squealed like a girl. We were in tears and I almost peed my pants from laughing so hard. I remember Landyn had to kick Jacob’s ass when he tried to come after you."
