“I may have had more lovers than you, and I may take my clothes off for countless women, but you are the only one who can strip me bare.”
Do you ever stop loving someone just because they’re gone?

Five years ago Ryan Pierce disappeared from Alana Remington’s life without leaving so much as a post-it note behind. He was the one she gave her heart to, her soul to and her virginity to. So imagine her surprise when she finds him dancing at one of NYC’s hottest male reviews as Jack the Stripper.

Ryan never stopped loving Alana, and now that she serendipitously dropped back into his life, he’s vowed never to lose her again. But being together has its costs, and challenges Alana isn’t sure she can handle. She finally has Ryan back; but how in the world is she supposed to share the love of her life with half of the women in New York City?

Alana's life is seriously lacking some fun, when she heads out with her cousin and friends for her cousins bachelorette party. They are headed to an all male revue and her friends insist she needs to let her hair down and of wild. But Alana doesn't do wild. Getting ready to start her first year of law school, Alana's been living under her dad's rules of appropriate behavior her entire life.
As her cousin is on stage getting a dance from one very sexy male stripper, his mask is removed her cousin pales in recognition and when Alana finally sees who it is, everything freezes. Ryan. The man she's spent the last 5 years in love with. The man who left her without word after her first time. And now. Now she wants answers.

As they embark on starting over, there are so many challenges in their way. He's a stripper for one. Her dad for two. His family. Her lack of time being in law school. But it doesn't stop them from trying to make it work.

I enjoyed this story. Ryan is a doll though his situation, I just want to smack the crap out of him, his brother and most especially his mom. Ryan's sweet and sexy and affectionate and demanding of Alana's openness and affections which pull her out of her comfort zone but make her stronger.

Let me just say. My personal opinion. If Alana could just get over her jealousy, dating a stripper would be awesome. It'd be fun, sexy and let's be honest, a lot of funny.

Marissa Carmel has loved writing ever since a young age. She has a duel degree in History and Political Science, but took as many creative writing classes in college as she could. She spent most of her twenties bartending, which is where she met her husband and a multitude of interesting people. When she’s not reading or writing, she’s hanging out with her family, experimenting in her kitchen or doing yoga on the living room floor.
