Theresa has one ex husband, Glen, who left her because she can't have babies and her other ex husband, Gary, who turned into a crazy asshole. Her only bright spot is her adopted 9 year old Rhea. But as Gary starts calling her constantly, she wonders if life could get any worse. But apparently it can, as Gary steps up his obsession by starting to drive by her house at night. Theresa's best friend Jamie convinces her to hire a body guard to keep her safe. Enter Nathaniel Sutherland. She's drawn to Nathaniel in a way he's never been before. But Nathaniel has his secrets and he's determined to be professional and keep Theresa safe.
I absolutely loved Nathaniel. He was hot, sexy, protective, and just awesome. Rhea and Jamie are two total bright spots. Rhea is so awesome with her inappropriate obsession with penises and her big crush on Nathaniel.
The cover and title make this book seem so sad and depressing but it's absolutely not. There are some dark spots, and with the whole stalking thing, there's certainly some danger but it's totally fun, sexy and funny too.
