Avery finds out too late that her heart isn't cut out to be a call girl. She’s too attracted to Sean. Avery doesn't just want Sean’s body, she wants his heart. When he sent her away, Avery was devastated. Trying to pick up the pieces is hard, especially since she can’t get another job.
Caught in an impossible position with her employer, everything hinges on making this next client happy, but things don’t go as they should. To make matters worse, Sean shows up at the worst time. Avery dreams of a chance to start over, to erase Sean from her life forever and leave her old life behind. But, it’s beginning to look more and more like just a dream.

We're back with Sean and Avery. The last book left us off with Avery confessing her love for him, and her "firing" her and asking for a new girl.
Black requires Avery to may back the money she fronted Avery but Avery threw it at Sean when she walked out. So now that she's out of cash, she's working for Black for free, to pay back her debt. She needs her next job to go smoothly but like magnets, Sean and Avery always end up near each other. Unfortunately nothing good for Avery can come out of it.
I loved this book because I really enjoyed seeing Avery's pain. That's sounds very schadenfreude of me but it's not like that. Avery's pain felt real to me. HM wasn't trying to evoke emotion, the emotion was just natural. She wasn't overly dramatic but she was still brokenhearted.
