Ignite was sexy, it was sweet, it was funny and it just made you believe in love.

Lexi has spent the better part of a year wallowing in the grief of losing her husband. Drinking herself to sleep, in order to avoid nightmares. Her sister, tired of seeing Lexi in pain decides to take matters into her own hands and invites her sister to go with her back home for her 10 year reunion. After Lexi agrees, she drops the bomb. Jace will be there.

Lexi was in love with Jace throughout high school but she was strictly friend zoned. That is, until the day before he left for the Army, he shares with Lexi that he's in love with her and wants to be with her when he gets home from boot camp. Unfortunately things don't go as planned and life moved on. But now they have a second chance.

Poor Lexi, so damn confused sometimes you just want to smack her but who am I to determine her grief period. And Jace, he just might have been the perfect male specimen. Patient, understanding, loving, open, honest, and demanding when the time is right.

This was a great read though perhaps a smidge too long. I'm excited to discover more from Tessa. Best part about this book is some very funny or perfect dialogue that had me either saying out loud "damn straight" or laughing hard.

Jace has me pressed up against the side of his car, his hands cupping both sides of my face. Looking into my eyes, he leans in, stopping just inches from my lips. I think he’s about to kiss me when he speaks instead.

“I told you I’d come back.”

A smile breaks out on my face when he closes the space between us, pressing his lips against mine. His kiss is soft and slow to begin with, but I’ve been aching for his touch for weeks, so I slide my hands up his t shirt, letting out a soft moan when I make contact with his skin. At the sound, his kiss hardens, and his tongue is against my lips, begging for entrance. They part immediately, allowing his tongue to collide with mine and our kisses turn frantic as we try to make up for lost time. His hands move to the small of my back before he slips them under my shirt and he traces small circles over my skin, causing me to shiver. My hands move over his taut abs as I make my way up his muscular chest. My thumb grazes his nipple, and he groans, breaking our kiss.

“Fuck, I’ve missed you,” he says in a husky voice, wrapping his arms around me in a tight embrace. My head leans against his hard chest, where I can hear his heart pounding. Smiling silently to myself, I’m secretly thankful that he still seems to be as affected by me as I am by him.

I'm a twenty six year old book junkie who is also obsessed with sports. Bengals, Buckeyes, Reds are my teams! I work for the government during the day, hang out with Air National Guard on the weekends, and am married to a guy 15 inches taller than me. We're quite the pair! We currently live right outside of Dayton, OH with our two cats.

I've been reading since I was a kid. My mom was a librarian, so it was a given. Heck, she even made sure we watched Wishbone instead of the Smurfs. In 2011 when I graduated from college, my mom bought me a Nook, and then in the summer of 2012 I found this amazing site called Goodreads. I was introduced to so many amazing indie/self-published authors. After reading almost 400 books that year, my husband gave me the push to finally sit down and write my own. It was a rocky start, but over time the words started flowing and I couldn't get Jace and Lexi out of my head.

If I’m not writing or looking through tons of photos of hot men, all in the name of research, then you can probably find me curled up with my Kindle, ignoring the rest of the world. I love my sports almost as much as I love my books. My other obsessions include red wine, hot men, country music, and all things Grace Potter.

I enjoyed this story. Ryan is a doll though his situation, I just want to smack the crap out of him, his brother and most especially his mom. Ryan's sweet and sexy and affectionate and demanding of Alana's openness and affections which pull her out of her comfort zone but make her stronger.

Let me just say. My personal opinion. If Alana could just get over her jealousy, dating a stripper would be awesome. It'd be fun, sexy and let's be honest, a lot of funny.

Marissa Carmel has loved writing ever since a young age. She has a duel degree in History and Political Science, but took as many creative writing classes in college as she could. Over the course of the year and a half, she manages to build a friendship with Reed. Their Saturday morning tennis matches, his arresting ocean blue eyes and mild flirtation is the perfect distraction from her troubles.

Kate is a lot like me in the way she handles problems, which I should probably be ashamed to admit but I'm not. Distraction until it's absolutely time to deal with the issue. Perhaps even after it's too late. Confrontation sucks so I can totally relate to her in that regard. Sometimes I wanted to smack her though because it's her weakness that I see as the real problem. She gives in to pressure from Kyle when it would be better to hold firm.

Overall I really enjoyed this story though the voice felt more story telling then live action. It hindered my ability to get completely lost in the story. But the story's not over yet. Gotta keep our eyes pealed for the next installment.

Melissa Rolka grew up in the Chicagoland area all of her childhood and has always had a love of writing. She started by keeping a journal at a young age and then in high school she started writing poetry. A couple poems were published anonymously. Then in college she majored in Philosophy, which required lots and lots of writing. After graduating from Marquette University she traveled west to Los Angeles. There she worked for the Writers Guild of America and found herself submerged in the writers world. She worked on small writings, but never pursued them. On the side she became involved with a small theater group.

Eventually she made her way back to the Midwest, where her heart belongs, and worked in business for several years. She found love, got married and has two beautiful children. Being at home has allowed her to keep following her love of reading and writing.

The Perfect Distraction is her first full length novel. A second continuation of this story is in the works with hopes for a third. When Melissa is not writing she is caring for, playing with and loving her two kids. In between taking care of her family and writing she almost always has her nose buried in her Kindle.

Tag Chase was fun. It kept me interested. The scenes were hot. I will tell you that at one point, I was so invested in the story that I couldn't take the anticipation anymore and immediately flipped to the back of the book. I cheat sometimes. I should be ashamed but I'm not. 

I flush and take another, longer sip from my glass. I look up at him, my guiltiness written all over my face, I’m sure. He laughs a little and shakes his head, “Relax, you don’t need to explain anything to me if you really don’t want to. I’m curious, but I’m just glad you met me for dinner tonight.”

“I am, too.” I blurt out. Shit, Paisley, you’re supposed to not be interested. “It was delicious.”

Corbin’s eyes are searching mine and I feel him leaning in closer to me. Shit, shit, shit.

“But, uh, I have yoga really early tomorrow. So I should probably get going,” I fumble, setting my glass of wine down on the coffee table. I go to stand but Corbin’s hand reaches out for mine, stopping me in my tracks.

“Wait, what about dessert?”

I turn to face him again and melt to the floor when I see the look in his eyes. They’re dark, daring. He’s daring me to stay. Daring me to take a chance.

He slides his other hand around my waist, leaning closer with every word, “You’ve got three options.” I know I should leave, should stand up right now and walk toward the door, but I’m frozen in place and captured by his eyes. “ I could whip up some delicious chocolate fondue with fresh cut strawberries,” he breathes, tickling my back a little with his fingertips. My breath is hitched in my throat and I can hear my heart beating in my ears, the rate rapidly increasing with every syllable that escapes his mouth. “We could make a trip to the store and pick up the perfect ingredients for you to show off your baking skills,” he pulls me a little closer and I have to turn away, the intensity in his eyes too much for me to handle. My legs start shaking a little and I try to steady them and focus on breathing. His body is so close to mine now, I can feel his chest against mine. “Or,” he pulls his hand from mine and touches the side of my face, running his fingers up through my hair, and begins planting soft kisses on my neck. “We could stay right here, and I could make you dessert, instead.”

Holy. Fuck.

Kandi Steiner is a Creative Writing and Advertising/Public Relations graduate from the University of Central Florida living in Tampa with her husband. Kandi works full time as a social media specialist, but also works part time as a Zumba fitness instructor and blackjack dealer. 

Kandi started writing back in the 4th grade after reading the first Harry Potter installment. In 6th grade, she wrote and edited her own newspaper and distributed to her classmates. Review: Lawful Overdose by Justine Elvira

Lawful Overdose is a fun, sexy book about a wild free-spirited girl who falls hard for the new guy in town. Tessa is a fun flirty girl who likes to party and hook up. She drinks, she goes wild, she has sex but she also has her limits. She does take drugs and refuses to be around anyone else who does. The loss of her sister deeply effected her in ways she couldn't begin to imagine. With all her pain, she's never been close with anyone since. That is, until Jaxon hits the scene.

Jaxson, the brother of her boss, recently transferred to her college to finish out his senior year. Tessa is immediately taken but him but tries to keep their relationship within her strict guidelines of hook ups only. But Jaxson is a man on a mission and refuses to share. But he has his own secrets and those rock Tessa's foundation.

I really enjoyed this story but I wasn't surprised by the twist. That's okay though because I don't need a twist to complete my stories. I like knowing the layout. It was fun. Jaxson was hot. Tessa was challenging. There was one part where Jaxson pissed me off and the Tessa's reaction pissed me off more. But alls well that ends well.

This book is the 2nd in The Manhattanites series by I didn't read the first. It wasn't necessary to the story and in fact, after I finished reading Unscrupulous, I read the Synopsis for Undressed and it seems to take place after this one so you're good. :) 

Unscrupulous is about a driven career woman, who is determined to make it on her own. Taddy Brill is a dirty dirty woman and I loved her for it. She likes shopping, drinking, sex and making sweet morman girls uncomfortable. 

Warner Truman is the 3rd richest man in the world and when he's approached by Taddy in bar, he capitalizes on the fact that she doesn't seem to know who he is. It's easy to see that they are instantly hot for each other and it makes for one of the hottest scenes I've read. Until they head home to Warner's home where his ex fiance is there. She effectively scares Taddy off and so ends their hot affair. 

Taddy decides that her little morman assistant Kiki needs to get laid, so she sends her off to France to meet up with her online boyfriend. But when that results Kiki getting arrested, Taddy hops on a plane to bail her out only to run back into Warner. This time Warner is determined not to let Taddy get away but Taddy has a wall built up that rivals The Great Wall of China. Can two Alpha arrogant people make a relationship work?

ARC Review: What He Really Feels by Lisa Suzanne

You know, I hated Tyler in the last book. I thought he was a total tool. He'd love Julianne forever and he chose her lowest weakest moment to confess to her. She was drunk and heartbroken and he used that to try and advance their relationship. I couldn't stand him. Thought he got all the pain he deserved. But then... 2 pages into this book, he was completely redeemed. I love a man that willing to admits his mistakes. 

With that said though, I found myself incredibly annoyed that so much of this book focuses on Jules begging Tyler to forgive her and Tyler being mad at her. You screwed up Tyler. Suck it up and move on. 

And so he does. 2 days prior to moving to San Diego, Tyler has a one night stand that absolutely blew his mind, and not strictly in the sexual sense. His connection with this girl was so strong that he wasn't able to keep her off his mind, despite not knowing anything about her, including her name. He calls her gorgeous but I'll call her 4x2 from here on out. (read the book, you'll know why) With a fresh heartbreak, coming off of a previous heartbreak, Tyler and his sadly abused heart moves to San Diego. He's got a place to live, a buddy to go our trolling with, girls falling at his feet, a great job, yet he couldn't get 4x2 off his mind. 

Until one day, at a party, he runs into his 4x2 on the arm of his co-worker, Spencer who introduces her as his girlfriend. Caught in another triangle, will Tyler come out with the girl this time? And what happens when Jules can't handle Tyler's lack of contact? Will she risk everything with Nick in order to repair her friendship with Tyler?

I really enjoyed this book. Emotions ran high, jealousy was rampant and the love was strong. I am anxiously awaiting the 3rd book in the trilogy, although it makes me nervous to see what will happen.

How He Really Feels was such a sweet simple story. I don't know many women who haven't had a crush on their boss. And I also don't know many women who have harbored a crush for, just about forever and dreamed about it finally becoming something? I know I have, in both instances. Unfortunately for me, my crush died a flaming death.

Fortunately for Julianne, the embers she felt quickly morphed into a passionate love affair with her boss, Nick. Their relationship burned red hot almost instantly, once that final nudge was made. The only problem is, no one can find out, or Nick will be fired. But Travis, Julianne's bestest friend in the whole wide world has decided to finally be honest with her about his feelings about her. Her choice becomes between the boss she's carried a torch for, for over a year, or her best friend in the whole wide world.

I just adored Nick. His willingness to basically wear his heart on his sleaze and put it all out there. Taking control of the situation, so once the initial step was taken, Julianne didn't have to worry about a single thing. She didn't have to stress about if she was moving too fast. Nick was handling that all on his own. 

I was so damn excited for Julianne as I was reading her feelings on Nick, and how he seemed to possibly be into her.  I think the reason why I enjoyed this story was because it felt almost as if I was reading a diary. Possibly one I would write myself. The excitement of having a long time crush say something, or give a certain look that just sends you into absolute bliss for the remainder of the day. The sneaky quick trip to the coffee machine just to get to walk by his office. Timing your arrival at the office to walk in with him. It all felt real to me and I enjoyed it. It was almost as if it was all me.

Only problem is, when the story ends, I'm left with questions. What did they say? How did he react? What will happen? How did it work out? I would have loved an epilogue, but hey, can't win them all!

Psychology student Will McLean is posing as a fellow addict while researching a case study on unusual addictions. But the more he learns about Leah, the more certain he is that his desire to break through her walls and unearth her secrets has nothing to do with his assignment.

As the uncertainties spike alongside the sexual tension, the only thing Leah knows for sure is that falling in love would be disastrous. Too bad love might be one addiction she can't kick.

Leah, a college junior with messed up parents and little brother who needs her lives a pretty solitary life. She pretty much only has one friend, her best friend and roommate. Leah's fully embraced the lifestyle of the one night stand girl. When her latest one night stand results in her entire apartment being robbed, everything stolen, her roommate has had enough of the revolving door that has become their home. She's demanded that Leah go to a Sex Addict group to work through her issues. Leah, though, is not convinced that she has a problem and grudgingly goes through her 20 sessions until session 19, when a gorgeous hunk of man walks through the door. Enter Will.

“I’m here because I, uh, love sex.... Probably too much,... I’m not selective about with whom. Or where. Or when.... I’ve made my rounds through the internet chatrooms, the ones that allow you virtual one-offs with strangers... My weekends are usually spent with multiple strangers. Also, I have two closets full of porn at home, organized by hardcore level and/or fetish, and I go through three tubes of lubricant a week. I think I might have a problem.”

Will is a psychology student posing as a patient, in order to study to techniques of the therapist to determine whether or not the techniques are effective. For Leah and Will, the attraction is immediate but considering they met in therapy, it's not exactly a relationship that should be pursued. Especially considering Leah doesn't do relationships. But the tension continues to build until they can't take it anymore. But between Leah's issues and Will's lies, this seems to be a relationship bound to fail before it begins. 

I really enjoyed this story. It was a fun sweet story and the backdrop of the sex addict group made it uniquely fun. My favorite character was Finn, with his big mouth, and crush on the meanest girl in town.
